Tech by day, classical and jazz musician by night

Christopher Arkin is a trumpet player and pianist who can be heard performing in concert halls and hotel lobbies throughout San Francisco. Equally at home on both instruments, though usually not at the same time, he enjoys playing a wide range of musical styles, from Classical to Swing and everything in between.

Chris is currently the principal trumpet of the San Francisco Civic Symphony, and second trumpet in the San Francisco Philharmonic. As a lounge pianist, he has performed in hotel lobbies and wineries throughout the Bay Area.

Though not one himself to focus on credentials, Chris has a Bachelor’s of Music in Trumpet Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
